Hi!  I’m Brittany (aka Mama) and while I am the writer of these various musings and family updates, the thing I am really doing here is reflecting on the beauty that is my family and this life we are living.

Oh it’s beautiful.  And I’ve found that having this little corner to journal and reflect is so good for me.

It has been therapeutic from it’s beginnings back when the love of my life went off to war for the first time, leaving me and our first-born behind in the loving arms of our families.  It was a way for our little family to stay connected, and for us to share the little parts of our days with Daddy.  The parts that you can’t cover in the twenty minute phone calls from Afghanistan at 4 am.

This place was so good for us.  A project for me to pour myself into.  A place for Daddy to watch his little guy grow.

Now, as life goes on, it has become a way for us to share our news projects and daily blessings with friends, family and whoever else happens to stumble across this tiny corner of ours.  I hope that our stories, projects and lives inspire in some way, bring glory to God and maybe even help you to take a second look around and see the beauty in your own life.
